Shortly before my 25th birthday I took some time to reflect on my life and complied this list of 25 Things I learned before 25 on God, Love, Relationships, and Life:

1. The JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH
2. Hell is not full and all people that go to church are not going to heaven
3. When you complain you are complaining to God not people
4. Knowing God’s Word will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from knowing His Word.
5. You speak what you believe. Your heart determines what will happen in your life but your mouth can be a weapon of mass destruction.
6. Seeking the unseen is better than the seen
7. Its not what you offered its what you held back
8. True humility is being as fly as you can be and all the glory going to God
9.  Angels are REAL…they are waiting for you to give them the WORD
10. Sheep often influence sheep more than the shepherd. Beware of the spirit attached to your counsel.
11. Love is, and can be a lot of things but there is no such thing as falling out of love…pure love has no conditions.
12. As a single person, there are things you can do now that you won’t be able to do when you get married. The season of “Singleness” is one of the most foundational periods in life
13.  Wisdom is a defense… What you don’t know, you don’t know…what you don’t know can & will hurt you
14. Growing and being grown are two totally different things. You can be grown without growing. Age does not guarantee maturity. Experience brings maturity and appreciation. Grow up and grow Wise!
15. Its crowded at the bottom, strive to get out of average
16. You don’t always have something to say. Silence speaks volumes
17. Get people free! Stop trying to impress people you don’t like or don’t know. Nobody is perfect so stop being so critical of people
18. Everybody wants roses but roses have thorns
19. Presentation makes ALL the difference
20. The greatest compliment or insult someone can give you is that you’ve changed…Either you are or you are not; either you are all the way in or all the way out. There is no in between.
21. Money is deceptive because it creates a false sense of security
22. With blessings comes responsibility. You are blessed to be a blessing
23. If you don’t have purpose then you aren’t necessary
24. Be consistent! even if you’re mostly inconsistent….be consistently inconsistent so people know what to expect!
25. Patience is a virtue but aggressive patience is for mature audiences only
