A friend emailed me a link to this article Saved Men Aren’t Blind and in closing she said:  ”Thank God you are a beautiful, bombsell believer.”  I was very curious to read the article. The writer asks himself:

Should I, as a Christian man, have to settle for a less than attractive woman because of the fact that I am saved? Does my love for Christ somehow eclipse my desire to have a beautiful wife? Should I settle for someone with a “great personality” because they love Christ and know their purpose?

He answers his questions and these are some excerpts that caught my attention:

On my journey towards TOTAL LIFE PROSPERITY I find so much truth  in what he’s stating. While I try not to call people “ugly”, the authors point of view is representative that most Christian men want a mate that is saved AND physically attractive. I think plenty of women asking themselves: Why am I still single? could gain insight on probable causes. According to truth: A man that finds a wife finds a good thing! As a single woman you must be chosen but that doesn’t mean just sit around and wait for Mr. Right to come along. The “take me as I am” façade is played! It requires effort on your behalf. If you are going to advertise you might as well work on the billboard. That includes everything about yourself including your physical appearance, your health, financial well-being, and most importantly your relationship with God.
