Valentine’s Day idea: Chocolate Dipped Spoons

Valentine’s Day Idea: Chocolate Dipped Spoons

Chocolate Dipped SpoonsValentine’s Day aka Singles Awareness Day is in one week and I know people are scrambling for creative ideas for their signficant others. My twitter friend Queen Rosa of Diva Dishes posted a free recipe for Chocolate Dipped Spoons on her site that I thought would be great for those who are preparing a home cooked meal on Valentine’s Day.

Here’s what you need:

1 7 oz  tub of Baker’s Real Dark Semi-Sweet Dipping Chocolate

Waxed paper/baking sheet

Decorations: Jet Puffed Minaiature Marshmallows, melted Baker’s White Chocolate, crushed Oreo Cookies, multi-colored or chocolate sprinkles

Recipe:

Potion:  Heat dipping chocolate as directed on the package. Dip clean, dry plastic teaspoons into chocolate.  Gently shake spoons to remove excess chocolate; place on waxed paper covered baking sheet.

Decorate as desired. Refrigerate 10 min or until chocolate is firm. Use as stirrers in steaming mugs of brewed Coffee or hot chocolate.

Note: Leftover dipping chocolate can be saved for later use. Just cover with lid and refrigerate until ready to use.
