McDonald’s wants you to come as you are.

McDonald’s is currently airing  a ”gay friendly” commercial  in France. I’m not sure what this commercial has to do with Big Macs and french fries as there is no mention of the food. It seems as if McDonald’s created the ad only toward acceptance of homosexual lifestyles.

In the ad, a teenage boy sits in a McDonald’s booth with his father and has a typical father-son interaction. The two look at the son’s class picture and the father goes on to tell him how much he looks like him when he was younger and how much of a ladies’ man he was.  While looking at his class Dad then looks at the class picture and remarks that “it’s too bad” that his son’s class is all boys. The son can only smile. The point suggest that the son is gay and tagline then reads “Come as You Are” in French. I’m sure anti-gay/homosexual organizations will be protesting if the commercial makes it to the states.
