Last week one of my favorite celebrity gossip sites NecoleBitchie.com posted pics of Kelly Rowland partying in Miami with friends. I loved Kelly’s hat so much I consulted with my bff/stylist to see what she thought. We came to a consensus and agreed I needed to add a straw fedora to my spring/summer wardrobe…and it’s definitely a must have for my upcoming vacation so I started my search for the perfect hat!

About a year and a half ago I was out shopping in Virgina Highlands with my friend Vanessa. We walked into Melrose Boutique and immediately I was captured by the smell. Of course I asked what the scent was. To my surprise the whole store was fragrantly filled by one small candle. I had to have it! I bought several that day. The hand poured Archipelago Botanicals: Pineapple Ginger Soy Candle contains more than 70% natural soy wax, and burns longer and cleaner than regular candles. The approximate burn time=50 hours. Even though they cost more than your typical candle they are well worth the price of $24.50. The long lasting scent gives your home space its own distinct scent. My guests always asked where did I get my candles. Somehow once I moved from Atlanta I forgot all about them. While doing some online searching for something else I came across them again. It turns out the signature series has 24 different fragrances…I can’t wait to smell the others. I’m so glad I re-found these!

It’s Like Candy!

So during lunch I almost had a slight heart attack when I saw the infamous RED BOTTOMS!!!! Not only was I shocked that YES, a woman at my research firm was indeed wearing Christian Louboutin pumps but more importantly because I hadn’t seen that particular style before. I returned to my office to find the same camel patent leather sling back. After searching for 30 minutes with no avail, I decided it was time to prepare for my 2 o’clock monthly meeting but not without posting on these Jeweled Platform Slingbacks I came across.

They are like candy!!!! I’d like to rename them LOUBY CANDY (LOL)

The peep toe slingbacks are Blue spechio with allover multicolor jewels. They have a hidden platform, covered heel, and of course that signature red sole. Made in Italy they can be yours for the price of $2830!
