Lindsay Lohan did a photo for the cover of French fashion magazine-Purple Fashion for their summer issue where she wears a crown of thorns, draped in a white plunging robe, and has her arms are stretched out in a crucifix-like position, obviously depicting Jesus Christ. The shot was taken by Gucci photographer Terry Richardson.

I have strong opinions but I try to keep them to myself so they don’t come off as judgemental but seriously what are these people thinking? Why would you depict yourself like this? What message is she trying to send? What purpose does this serve? Some would think this photograph is disrespectful. I agree with this thinking. What is artistic about the death of Christ? NOTHING in my opinion. I live for what Christ died for me to have! As a Christian his death, burial and resurrection is what my entire belief system is based on. I don’t take it lightly and neither should other Christians. People of the world are constantly furthering satan’s agenda with no opposition from Christians. I’m absolutely disgusted!

I came across an interesting article about  counterfeit goods including designer handbags made by luxury retail brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada. The MSN writer is raising awareness and exposing counterfeit goods from knock off hand bags to medicines, shampoos, laundry detergents, semiconductors, computer equipment and even airplane parts! I knew the fake handbags were getting out of control but I wasn’t aware of the huge impact on the economy. According to Bazaar publisher Valerie Salembier, “750,000 jobs are lost to counterfeiting” and it has “close ties to organized crime”

Besides the “bootleggers” we see on the corners, the author notes that  “More people are using the Internet as a global marketplace — because of that, there is more access to counterfeit goods”
